Many kind of Gates we have done :
1. SLIDE GATES
- Commonly used to provide a vertical barrier in waterwork, fabricated in steel plate to withstand the water pressure. Normally placed in front of Inlet tunnels
2. ROLLER GATES
- Designed to control flow through waterway opening, mainly used in INTAKE & SPILLWAY GATES, using large cylinder wheels that move in an angled slot for “opening/closing” mechanism.
- The operation system of this gate mostly uses electrical motorized gearbox or in some case, hydraulic cylinders
3. STOPLOGS GATES
- Normally used to dewatering main gates maintenance in dams. Where the main gates are always supplied in one piece panel, Stoplogs are furnished in multiple sections for ease of handling & installation, can be used in multiple slots
- Each gate is typically installed with monorail crane& supplied with lifting beam to simplify the movement
4. JETFLOW GATES
- Similar to high pressure bonneted slide gates and are used as regulating gates under free or submerged discharge condition
- Typically operated with hydraulic cylinders but can also use a screw stem arrangement with an extended bonnet
5. BOTTOM OUTLET GATES
- Bonneted Gates are high pressure slide gates located at the bottom of the dam’s basin that are employed as a safety device durings general maintenance operation. By closing the upstream gate, safe access is provided to the downstream gate for periodic maintenance activities
- Mainly operated using hydraulic system for “OPEN / CLOSE” mechanics
